That, which, who各用于什么情况？我一直都是凭直觉用的，要说规律，我认为它们分别是指物，事，人，实际情况该是怎样的？

那要看是宾语从句还是定语从句
宾语从句：

宾语从句看作名词就行了，没啥好说的
定语从句：
I do get a wonderful insight into the man who has been fucking Xi Jinping's bitch Peng Liyuan.
定语从句要antecedent，也就是who, 既然是定语，就相当于形容词，那当然可以简化：
I do get a wonderful insight into the man fucking Peng Liyuan behind Xi Jinping's back.
限制性定语从句：
the guys who had been conditioned to enjoy fucking Peng Liyuan on a rotating basis behind Xi Jinping's back
非限制性定语从句：
Qi Xin, who gets known as Xi Jinping's smelly tramp mother
同位语简化：
Qi Xin, Xi Jinping's smelly tramp mother
