What is the purpose of pingcng? The world have no short of forums, there are countless subreddit and discord servers dedicated to the discourse of politics, matrix platforms utilized by those ostracized by mainstream network companies. What is the purpose of pingcong? Established by Chinese political dissidents and, hopefully still, for Chinese political dissidents, its purpose is to provide a place for those who are censored within the Great Wall to have their voices heard, their experiences known, their minds explored. It is them, the people who are deprived the means to express themselves and voice their grievances, that this site is designed to serve. The account of grievances voiced by each and every one of them provide us with insights to the extent to which injustice exists on that land. The ideas and thoughts explored by these men and women tells us the true mental image of the peoples who reside there beneath the propaganda perpetuated by the political machines of its government. They, the unfortunate peoples peeking outside of their cages, also look to us, the ones fortunate enough to be born with the gift of freedom, for console and advice. In this sense, pincong is a place for the exchange of information between the inside of the Great Wall and the West, and this is its purpose.
If someone wishes to flex his half-assed English on Chinese nationals , hoping to gain some self gratification, there is a vast number of venues on the net already through which he can achieve that. However, for his proposal of an English Exclusive Zone on this site, he is to be ostracized and ridiculed, for a place of exchange does not need the erection of artificial barriers of communication, such a erection goes against the purpose of pingcong and everything it stands for and could achieve, the only effect of which would be the hampering of the productiveness of this site and the fueling of unnecessary schisms.

I never think that language is really an obstacle that can prevent communication between humans, because any language in this world, from ignorance to confident mastery, only needs to learn two months. so, "I dont know English" does not hinder communication, and "laziness" is the biggest problem.

We will see what happens. This post is a critique of the proposal and also a prediction. If such a subsection is to be established, I predict that it will not be useful to the majority of the users, nor will it help the site further its purpose. Its only effect would be to grant the initiator of the proposal a way of ridiculing his personal rivals, it’s existence would become the basis of an ad hominem attack where a person attacks the language his opponent is writing in instead of the merit of the argument itself.

Another advantage of creating an English discussion forum is that the "language fingerprints" of native speakers will be hidden.
You should maybe consider Pincong as a forum for different but allied anti-CCP factions to exchange ideas and research.
For the time being, major allied factions here include (1) secular de-sinoficationists and separatists, (2) Falun Gong and other Chinese salvationist religions, (3) underground and phalangist Christians, and (4) pan-leftist dissidents.
A certain faction owns, pays for the operating cost, and has to defend the server from frequent and increasingly aggressive CCP attacks. It is especially a difficult task to moderate allied factions and to dissuade them from falling into incessant in-fighting, as CCP wumaos work tirelessly everyday to encourage this in-fighting.
It is the way of natural order that a group of shared interest grows more sophisticated and forms more cohesive sub-factions over time. Currently, Mandarin-speaking Mainlanders and English-speaking overseas Cathaysians are increasingly divided on the issue of American values and what it means to be the Free World.
So it is consistent with the natural order to soft-segregate Mandarin-speaking Mainlanders and English-speaking overseas Cathaysians with an English sub-section. Participation is voluntary, not mandated.

Well, I consider that's one aspect of the meaning of its existence.
But certainly NOT the only one.
Not too hard to imagine some journalists or real media or curious persons in the free world use pincong as a convenient window to peek into a place of doom.
Besides, as a place of people pincong shall and can never be a function of a machine.

Your worry is of course valid, as we can see and I already have experienced on the English subforum. But that's something you cannot avoid as long as you really put your neck out for something.
There are always flies flying around, contaminating everything you cherish. Consider it as a reminder, not some error you are obliged to eliminate. God is the creator, not you or me.
