As Hong Kong youth we urge the US government to take more effective actions than economic sanctions to stop China from passing the security law.

Since XiJingPing's only cares about maintaining his position by dragging every government officials into a power struggle, taking away Hong Kong's status as the financial center is not effective enough in stopping the security law from passing. Furthermore by doing this, your government is wasting the economic contribution of our previous generation, and the next generation's ability to secure deomocracy in the land we call home.
