6月13日，来自江苏淮安的17岁女孩获喜讯，以全球排名12的成绩入围数学竞赛决赛，成为赛事历来首个打进决赛的中专生。组委会公布的决赛名单显示，此次晋级的801名选手中，多数来自清华、北大、麻省理工、剑桥等名校。
据了解，姜萍所学习的专业是服装设计，但对数学非常痴迷，在课余时间始终坚持自学，曾花了2年自学偏微分方程。
怎么看这个新闻，有点阴谋论，我个人觉得是不是为了中专学院分流或者为中考考生分流，更好地减少由于人口增多带来的学习资源匮乏，虽然才一个，但是后续我觉得会报道更多关于中专生的，前段时间我也看到一个中专生考研考博成功，这是巧合吗？

In the discipline of math, especially math competitions, training weights more than talent. Math problems have stereotypes, though, peeling off those extremely obscure mathematic languages as guises would be a daunting task, the underlying core of a theorem is usually nothing too far away from common sense, in mathematical terms per se. Most of time, reading textbooks give readers a fairly well-structured understanding of the framework, it still requires a considerable amount of effort to delve into those nuanced details, which is a formidable voyage of discovery.
It is not unsurprising that a student of her background could make such an achievement, nonetheless, training, especially systematic and guided training, plays much a bigger role than talent.
