Karpatka is like a Polish version of vanilla slice, or millefeuille, only instead of the puff pastry, you have layers of choux pastry.
I realized I like Napoleon Tort quite a lot, which is a Russified version of Napoleonka, itself a relative of Karpatka....

Karpatka is a kind of Polish pancake, beside it, I also favor plesniak, crème brulée, crêpes, baklava, macaroons and others, and what's better, I never grow fat by eating them.

我之前在沙特阿拉伯采访地下的LGBT+团体时，差点就去世了。
虽然我也有伊斯兰信仰，但这更像是我从数学和童年回忆中整理出来的一个行为艺术（以前我提到过，和Tarski的真理观念有关），至于具体表现形式，会让那些伊斯兰教国家的人觉得我就是一个西方派来的间谍，比如我会找一群孩子来唱颂歌在古尔邦节的时候，地点还往往是哥特式建筑。
实际上，每次我去拜访东突厥斯坦的时候，别人都一开始把我看成一个完全的西方人，给我很高的面子，然后每次这个时候都会有一个认识我的人站出来说，“他也是突厥人” (๑◔‿◔๑)

你也是知曉的，在這種時候被認出來“也是xxx”最致命。
就如同在蘇聯，美國人有優待，但是一旦被發現是俄裔烏克蘭裔或者波蘭裔，一切優待會立刻消失，有的時候反而會是累贅
（還好美國人阿拉伯人都割包皮，所以不會有電影Europa Europa裡荒誕的場景：平時是黨衛軍，但是一旦給別人看到裸體『因為實際上是猶太人』就死定了，所以整個電影裡他最大的恐懼是被扒光而因此暴露真正的“身份” (◕︿◕✿)
所以我一直覺得裸體有著很特殊的含義，因為沒有了衣服所賦予的social identity, 只有自己的身體，有的時候有的情況下，極為脆弱，有的時候甚至是致命的
下一代是希望，我但願他們不會遭受這樣的困擾，但是你也看到了，實際情況並不是多麼的美好

I have been spiritually weakened recently. Usually it is not a situation I allow myself to get into, but I realize I might draw too much energy from you by this point. among all the contacts I get along with, my fellow Polish, Italian circles are cracking under the pressure and I realize I have to carry on either on my own, or through other inspirations. I hope some brief interactions would push me through this period. I am ashamed that I feel fearful towards the Russian authorities lately.....
