https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDzxG6IF3Qg
https://twitter.com/loveandpeace511/status/1486504218894688259
https://twitter.com/__Inty__/status/1486926758163091458
https://twitter.com/JustinTrudeau/status/1486704226449379329
https://twitter.com/__Inty__/status/1487592735427072000
https://thepostmillennial.com/cbc-suggests-russian-actors-behind
https://babylonbee.com/news/trudeau-claims-truckers-only-hate-him-because-hes-black

Honk Honk = HH = Heil Hitler

It's pretty amazing that liberal elites started out by smearing the striking truckers as fascists—and ended up cheering on actual fascistic measures against them. They called the truckers a threat to democracy—then cheered when their civil liberties were stolen from them.

What makes you a liberal if you don't support civil liberties? What makes you a leftist if you oppose workers? This truckers' protest had to be squashed not because there is a shred of evidence that it is in any way violent but because of what it's revealing.

Remember that viral Newsroom clip like a 10yrs ago about how freedom isn't that unique across the West?
The crackdowns in Australia, across Europe, and now Canada show me that we actually are uniquely free here in the US compared to the rest of the West

Saagar Enjeti @esaagar
Do we have problems with woke capitalism, insane localities and creeping authoritarianism in the private sector? Yes
But in this country the vax mandate was struck down nationwide, we have courts that would never let this stand (for now), and ofc we have #2A as last resort

EDITORIAL: Protests, blockades damaging Trudeau
Sun Media
Publishing date: Feb 12, 2022
Two polls released Saturday contain some bad news for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
A Maru Public Opinion survey of 1,506 Canadian adults who are Maru panellists taken Feb. 9 – 10 found 48%, believe Trudeau has demonstrated he’s not up to the job of being prime minister, compared to only 35% who disagree with 18% unsure.
Meanwhile, 45% said Trudeau has shown that someone else should lead the Liberal Party of Canada, compared to 35% who disagree and 18% unsure.
Only 16% said Trudeau has made them want to vote for him because of how he has dealt with the vaccine mandate protests, while 63% said he has not, with 21% unsure.
A majority, 53%, said Trudeau has looked weak in the face of the threats to the country posed by the vaccine mandate protests compared to 31% who disagree, with 16% unsure.
A plurality of 44% said Trudeau has inflamed the situation, compared to 38% who disagree and 18% unsure.
An Abacus Data poll of 1,500 Canadian adults taken Feb. 4-8 found only 36% have a positive impression of Trudeau compared to 46% who have an unfavourable one.
The pollster said Trudeau’s net score of –10 means “his negatives are the highest we have registered.”
Approval of the federal government has dropped to 38%, down six points from last month, while disapproval has increased by five points to 45%.
Only 34% felt Canada is headed in the right direction — down eight points in two months, to the lowest level since April 2021 — while 50% think it’s headed in the wrong direction, up seven points.
The only good news for Trudeau and the Liberals in the Abacus Data poll is that they remain narrowly ahead of the Conservatives in popular support by a margin 33% to 30%.
Meanwhile, panellists in the Maru poll had little sympathy for those participating in the vaccine mandate protests, with 64% saying they believe democracy is threatened by the demonstrations, which should end immediately.
Only 20% fully support the demonstrators.
Finally, 58% believe truckers participating in the protests who refuse to disperse should face fines and potential jail terms of up to two years, while 66% said anyone aiding and abetting the protests should be subject to the same penalties.

At least 76 financial accounts frozen since Emergencies Act invoked: Mendicino
Dozens of accounts with financial services firms have been frozen under new powers granted by the Emergencies Act over the past five days, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino said Saturday.
Speaking at a virtual press conference that began just as police officers cleared protesters from Wellington Street in front of Parliament, Mendicino said "at least 76" accounts containing approximately $3.2 million had been frozen under the powers of the Act.
"The numbers that we have been able to provide you thus far … show very obviously how the Emergencies Act is being used to bring about the peaceful conclusion of the illegal blockades," he said.
