GIC STATEMENT ON THE 2022 WINTER OLYMPICS
The Global Imams Council is the world’s first and largest transnational non-governmental body of Muslim faith leaders from all Islamic denominations and schools of thought. We stand in support of, and united with, the oppressed Uyghur Muslims. The Chinese Government continues to violate Chinese Muslims' basic human and fundamental rights through oppression, torture, and dictatorship.
By the authority bestowed upon this Council by the Holy Islamic Seminary of Najaf and the Eminent Muftis of the Islamic World, the Global Imams Council rules that articipation and attendance in the Beijing 2022 Olympics are prohibited. This event directly serves the interests of a tyrannical and oppressive regime that is responsible for the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Uyghurs. We applaud the growing number of organizations boycotting the Beijing 2022 Olympics and reaffirm our solidarity with the World Uyghur Congress. Additionally, we extend our gratitude to the many faith leaders and religious organizations that have expressed their support to Muslims during their calamities.

所以，就可以將上百萬維吾爾人送進集中營？中共同是打擊恐怖主義為由，將無數無辜的維吾爾人送進集中營。
而的確，維吾爾人中，是有發生過襲擊事件，當中也有涉及平民。但就可以將無辜的人送中集中營，和進行種族清洗？他們都要為不知是誰，不認識的死者和加害者負責？
就因為是同一個宗教，歐美是有政治政確的問題，但是像是現在美國原住民，或特別是紐西蘭對原住民有所優遇，那是因為他們現在弄恐襲搞出來？那是上百年前的戰爭。

加拿大議會槍擊案、美國斧頭砍人案，澳洲雪梨咖啡館挾持案，ISIS會承認這些事件，是要激起人們對穆斯林的恐懼，迫使他們支持ISIS等極端組織。
Waleed Aly譴責恐怖分子的暴行，和ISIS的陰謀，而且每一次穆斯林恐襲，也只會令他們處境更加有危險。
而你就當壞人的角色，我想你認為那是和二戰時要將日裔美國人送進集中營的心態相似。但那是戰爭時期的無奈，而送他們進去，是戰爭所迫，而不是「仇恨情緒」。
