《明天会更好》大幅修改过歌词，处于台湾戒严时期创作不得已的自我阉割。
但是台湾民主化后，修改过的歌反而流行，因而人们鲜有去关注。
原版歌词才能更加体现，甚至应该作为香港反送中主题曲。

前几年《滚石》公布的，罗大佑的歌词原稿。
现在的《明天会更好》是许多人合作，在罗大佑创作的歌词基础上再修改成的，其中包括张大春，詹宏志等人。
2019年 美团的创始人王兴，在自己的饭否主页上，发表了一段若有所指话：“听到一个段子：2019年可能会是过去十年里最差的一年，但却是未来十年里最好的一年。”
我自己填的词，希望能有唱歌好听的人把它唱出来。
1985年对台湾来说确实是明天会更好，没有辜负这首歌

這是我兒時的歌
也是1980年代才會出現的東西
後來搞群星公益合唱就沒那個味道了
這靈感來源於美國45名歌星合唱的
作為義賣援助當時非洲飢荒飢民的
"We are the world"( 麥可·傑克森作詞作曲)
當時全美創下八百萬張銷售成績
註1:雖然這風潮最早其實也不是We are the World，而是英國的"Do they know it’s Christmas?"群集數十位英國歌星，但當時台灣主要是受We are the world影響)
註2:Michael是非常熱心公益的歌手，後來許多作品
如"heal the world"，"earth song"等都以人道關懷為主題
