看到Victoria Nuland在媒体见面会上说希望中国帮助调停俄乌冲突，我还诧异，觉得拜登团伙不会真觉得可以拉拢中国对抗俄罗斯吧？结果今天一看NYT报道, 他们的确这么觉得。大西洋主义上头就是这个症状。当然这类消息在品葱得到的最多赞同的回应肯定是“美国神机妙算，明知中国泄密而故意为之”。我觉得很扯。我现在对两类论调同样厌倦：“美帝傻白甜，斗不过精明狡诈的对手”，“太上皇神机妙算，一切尽在掌握”。真的神机妙算，二十年多来外交上为何频频自取其辱？为何坚持扶助中国，养虎为患？美国今日至尊的地位巍然不动，只说明家大业大、积累丰厚，任由两代不肖子孙挥霍，也尚未伤及根本。可是挥霍是不可持续的。
Victoria Nuland就是当年在基辅的广场革命背后指点江山的美国官员。有时你不禁会想，如果主导东欧事务是一群现实感更强的人，一群不会只着眼于某个理想愿景的人，今天的一切是不是可以避免。
